The Beginning

So here it is. My weight loss blog. Started to help me on my journey. It will serve as my food diary, exercise tracker and a place for me to post weight and measurments. It will also be where I post my goals and celebrate my accomplishments. If you are along for the ride I am glad you choose to help cheer me on.
And away we go...

Goal: 130lbs in a year = 11 lbs a month
Start: 7/27/11 End:7/27/12




Weight: 266
Height: 5 foot 1 inch
Bust: 50 inches
Waist: 50 1/4 inches
Hips: 57 3/4 inches
Pants size: 24
Bra size: 48DD (the last time I bought a bra was 2008 so this may have changed) (and geeze, maybe I should go bra shopping!)

First month goal 11 lbs:

Punishment: Hmmm... I want it to be to meet Steve to swim laps since I really DON'T want him to see me in a swimsuit anytime soon. BUT I would want it to be at a public pool and not his private pool. With the public pools closed for the season I haven't figured this one out yet. Maybe book at room at a Marriott and use their pool? What a waste of money to have a room just to use the pool. Hmmm... ideas?
Reward: meet Steve at a café for coffee or lunch

Food Diary:

Breakfast: Everything bagel with cream cheese
Snack: Trail mix: peanuts, M&Ms, raisins, peanut butter chips
Lunch: Peanut Butter and strawberry jam sandwich and an apple
Snack: trail mix and beef jerkey
Dinner: Spaghetti, salad, bread and butter, banana cream pie

Exercise:

Took the kids swimming. Got a few laps in inbetween playing with them. Did a lot of tossing the kids and chasing them down. Cop out? Kinda feels that way. Oh well, tomorrow I pick up my new elliptical. :)
